I’m Joaquín Corbalán and I dedicate myself to wedding photography because I believe your photos are more than images: they become a visual legacy for your family. Based in Paterna (Valencia), my aim as a wedding photographer is to tell your story with honesty and naturalness, avoiding forced poses or artifices that erase what’s authentic. My approach is documentary and emotional: I observe more than I direct. During the day I adapt to the rhythm of the couple and their guests, looking for sincere gestures, knowing glances and the small details that will, over time, transport you back to the real feelings of that day. I want you to recognise yourselves in your photos years from now: attractive, yes, but above all real and happy. I work in a close, straightforward way. Before the wedding I like to get to know your story: who you are, what makes you laugh, which moments worry or excite you. That dialogue allows me to connect and build trust: if you feel comfortable with me, the photos flow. On the wedding day I’m an attentive but discreet observer; I only step in when necessary and let moments arise naturally. My experience, rooted since 2008, has taught me to combine sensitivity with endurance: I can handle long days, find the right light in any setting and resolve unforeseen issues calmly. Riding my bike and running marathons have shaped a way of seeing life that reflects respect for other people’s pace and the perseverance to accompany you throughout the whole day.
